Skills requiredActive Luton is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Activity Leader to join the friendly team at Lea Manor Recreation Centre . As an Activity Leader you will be a key part in the operational team, aiding with setting up equipment and ensuring the centre runs smoothly and safely. We are looking for somebody who has previous experience of the leisure industry and holds a valid NPLQ.
Job role notesAre you passionate about fitness, safety, and delivering exceptional leisure experiences? We are looking for a motivated and energetic Activity Leader to join our team at Lea Manor Recreation Centre.
As an Activity Leader, you’ll play a key role in the daily operations of the centre — from setting up equipment for activities and classes, to ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all users

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead a range of activities within the leisure centre
• Set up, take down, and safely move sports and fitness equipment
• provide excellent customer service to centre users of all ages
• Ensure the safety of all visitors by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Act as a lifeguard on duty when required, ensuring pool safety procedures are always followed
• Support the wider team in the smooth day-to-day running of the centre

Essential Requirements:
• Valid NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification)
• Previous experience working in a leisure or fitness centre environment
• Good physical fitness, with the ability to move and set up equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and friendly attitude
