About the role
As a Customer Service Advisor, your main role will be co-ordinating the external and internal bookings at Lewsey Sports Park & Pool. You will also be playing a vital role in delivering excellent service across our centres. Based at Lewsey Sports Park, you’ll assist the Operations team in handling enquiries, taking payments, supporting membership sales, and helping to ensure that every visitor has a positive experience. This front-line role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment and enjoys working as part of a dynamic team.
What you’ll be doing
• Welcoming and assisting members of the public at the reception desk and over the phone
• Processing bookings, sales, and memberships using computerised systems
• Handling cash, card payments, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Delivering tours and supporting prospective members to join our centres
• Supporting administrative tasks and responding to email enquiries
• Keeping the reception area clean and well-presented
• Occasionally assisting with light equipment setup and movement
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with strong customer service skills and a positive, approachable attitude. You’ll need to be confident using computer systems, handling payments, and communicating clearly with a wide range of people. If you are reliable, detail-focused, and enjoy helping others, we’d love to hear from you.
Skills
Essential:
• Experience in a face-to-face customer service or reception role
• Basic clerical or administrative experience
• Ability to handle enquiries politely and professionally
• Good numerical skills (adding, subtracting, recording payments)
• Comfortable using Windows-based computer systems
• Fluent and effective spoken English
• Understanding of the impact of discrimination on service delivery
• Physically able to assist with light equipment movement
• Flexibility to occasionally work at other sites
